Abington Park visitors can enjoy live music every Sunday afternoon from 2pm to 5pm until 11 September.
The popular Bands in the Park programme will once again be performed at much-loved Victorian bandstand, which has recently undergone a £15,000 restoration.
The summer music programme has been arranged by the Council’s events team who have this year booked bands from across the region for the enjoyment of park-goers.
Cabinet member for Community Engagement, Councillor Michael Hill said: "Bands are always a popular part of spending summer Sundays in Abington Park, and the event programme prepared for this year will give brass band enthusiasts a good variety of music to enjoy.”
This Sunday (17 July) the Abington Wind Band will be playing.
The line up for the rest of the season is:
24 July, Moulton 77 Brass Band
31 July, Daventry Bass
7 August, Praise in the Park
14 August, Kibworth Brass
21 August, Road Runner Event
